Fyndiq, the largest online marketplace for bargains in the Nordics, faced declining organic growth in Sweden. At the same time, Fyndiq wanted to accelerate their newly launched sites in Denmark, Finland, and Norway using synergies from the Swedish market.

Fyndiq encountered unique challenges due to their merchant-driven model and the vast scale of their website, which included millions of pages. With limited resources, a creative SEO solution was needed to scale their Swedish success internationally.

We helped Fyndiq Identify and resolve critical SEO issues, such as un-crawlable pagination and lacking sitemaps, which significantly improved site accessibility and indexation. We also implemented solutions like dynamic XML and HTML sitemaps, ensuring proper navigation paths and enhancing crawlability.

Leveraging & syncing markets

We facilitated Nordic expansion by translating and optimising category content across Denmark, Finland, and Norway using efficient tools and processes. To increase Fyndiq’s search visibility and organic clicks, we implemented hreflang tags enhancing visibility across different Nordic markets.

With the right foundation in place, we could identify and pursue growth initiatives such as ongoing category content creation, category tree expansion based on keyword research, and strategic interlinking improvements.
